If you attend school, whether it be high school, college, or some vocational school even, do you ever tell your teacher the mental health issues you have? I know that may not be an easy thing to do, but I think it's a good idea to inform your teachers about your conditions, so that when problems come up, they can better understand what is going on. I know some kids who told their teachers what was going on, and the teachers would often leave them alone or get them more involved depending on what the problem was.
I think it's best for a teacher to know what's going on, so when something does happen, they are ready to take charge and help. Because if a teacher doesn't know, they may do something wrong that furthers the problem, or they may just not know how to handle your ticks or specific issues. What do you think though? Do you feel comfortable telling your teachers your problems? Or would you rather keep that secret from them?
