Would universal income help ease the issues for Gen Z and above?

Millennials and the generations after really got hosed by the boomer generation. Cost of living is out of control here in the states, and I think it's only going to get worse and worse for Gen Z and above. I know I got it pretty bad, but I like to think Millennials were the last generation that got in. But we too are struggling. Which is why, I think universal income could help make things a lot easier for the citizens, especially when costs keep rising around the US and the world. Future generations are going to struggle to find good paying jobs.

I think it would provide a lot of help and could ease some of that stress of getting by week to week. Do you think it would help? Or would it be better if we increased pay for jobs going forward? I don't see that happening anytime soon though.
