People at war are mentally disturbed

With the ongoing wars between Israel and Iran, and between Ukraine and Russia, it is expected that people in these warring countries do not have peace of mind. They are stripped of with freedom to live in peace and progress. They might not be able to sleep thinking of the bombs, drones, or missiles that may hit them. I doubt if there is a moment they feel happy and inspired. All they see and hear is death.

We can only imagine what kind of life they are living in those country. war is a difficult time and you have to live with fear and when you are too much afraid, you certainly do not have peace of mind, and you will be battling with mental health issues. If you survive the war, it is possible that you develop PTSD

Even a young child may have been affected badly with the consequences of the war. Only the infants do not care, but teens, and mature people feel the extreme fear and scare. They lost their hopes to achieve their dreams in their lives because of the ruthless war.

People affected by war often experience mental disturbances like anxiety, PTSD, and depression due to trauma, loss, and constant stress. Prolonged conflict deeply impacts emotional health and resilience.

War was always horrible throughout history, but only in modern times are bombs falling from the sky. I can't even imagine what that's like, especially being from the US. The last war here was The Civil War and it was pre-airplane.

Finally, the USA bombed the three nuke sites of Iran. This causes mental disruptions of the people. I am sure, they cannot sleep well.

A response could be more terrorism in the US. I'm amazed there wasn't any in the 2000s aside from 9/11. Anyway, expect that more rights would be taken away with security as the reason.

Exactly, the retaliation from Iran is inevitable. They are Islamic, and they also have their pride, and their culture is aligned with the ideologies and beliefs that they are superior. Khamenei hates Israel; likewise, Israel to Khamenei for backing up the terrorists in Gaza and Lebanon.

Considering war is a terrifying thing to be a part of, its got to weigh on the people who are taking part of it, and those who are victims of it. I live in the US and I know I'm mostly safe, but I can't imagine what people living through wartime go through. The loss, the pain, along with the fear of what could happen next. It's got to weigh heavily on you mentally.

The floods in North Carolina and fires in LA were the closest thing to war in the US lately. It was very catastrophic.

People at war may not be able to sleep well. Their minds are wandering, and their hearts are throbbing fast, thinking of the drones that may drop on them. If it is so crucial.

People involved in war often suffer deep psychological trauma, but it's not fair to label them as “mentally disturbed.” Many experience PTSD, anxiety, or depression due to extreme stress and violence. What they need is compassion, support, and access to proper mental health care.
