Anxiety can overwhelm professionals in fast-paced jobs. Practice deep breathing, set boundaries, and prioritize tasks to cope. Therapy or mindfulness apps also help. How do you manage workplace anxiety effectively?

Working in a high-stress environment can make anxiety feel overwhelming, but managing it is possible with the right approach. I’ve found that setting boundaries, taking short breaks, and practicing mindfulness can really help. Talking with colleagues or seeking professional support when needed also makes a difference. Physical activity, like walking or light exercise, helps me clear my head, while prioritizing sleep keeps me balanced. Stressful jobs may not go away, but learning to manage anxiety means you can handle challenges without burning out.

When I worked at the call center, I had so much stress and anxiety. I found reading books between calls helped a bit. As well, taking your scheduled breaks when needed can help. Also I had some cool co-workers who were really kind to me, and they sort of took my anxiety away while working. But I also had a manager I was afraid of, because I was afraid she would yell at me for making a mistake, so that stressed me out some.

But yeah, I want to never go back lol.

The challenge with people working in high stress work environments is that they are always so desperate that they don't speak out when extra work is given to them even when they are juggling overwhelming workload. The ability to politely and diplomatically decline extra work in a high stress work environment would help to keep anxiety down on the part of the staff.
