How can healthcare systems be improved for Gen X?

Considering the mental health challenges faced by Gen X, what improvements can be made in healthcare systems to ensure better access to mental health services and support tailored to the needs of this age group?

Healthcare systems can be improved for Gen X by giving importance to preventive care, mental health access, and support for chronic conditions that often begin in midlife. I believe flexible, affordable insurance plans, more telehealth options, and workplace wellness programs tailored to their busy lives would help. Many Gen Xers also juggle caring for both kids and aging parents, so integrated family care and caregiver support are essential.

I think the healthcare system in the US is a joke. Far too many people paying way too much for health care, some not able to get by. And the sad truth is that these problems will keep getting worse, especially for the Gen X crowd and anyone to come after. Our kids are in for a rude awakening, because the problems we've had to suffer with now, will only continue to get worse for them.

I'm a millennial myself, and the previous generation really tarnished things for us. And I'd argue the millennial side tarnished things for the group ahead.

What I think needs to be done is universal healthcare, healthcare that doesn't discriminate. Healthcare where everyone can go to a doctor and not get billed to death. I think health is important, no one should suffer because they may be poor or make less. And even for people who live well, they end up paying even more for healthcare, sometimes so much that they can't even get by. So I think we need universal free healthcare for all citizens, young and old. It's crazy we don't have a system like that in place already.
