Retirement is an important milestone in one's life. It's a very big change for anyone. All of a sudden, you find yourself with ample time at hand. Planning retirement life is very important. It's important to have a routine and keep things to keep yourself engaged. Staying idle can lead to mental health issues in some time. The feeling of worthlessness can be overpowering and can lead to depression and other mental health issues.

Routine after retirement is actually underestimated. It keeps your brain busy and adds some excitement or form to your day. My grand dad always gets into gardening in the morning and he also reads the newspapers and those little activities kept him bright and cheerful.

Retiring is not easy for most people. Some don't know what to do with themselves after retirement. What a retiree needs to do is find something to pass the time. This could be taking up a new job, maybe a hobby or taking up crafts. There's a lot you can do in retirement. It comes down to finding something productive for yourself to take on while retired. Because if you do nothing is when you start to live in your head and worry. Find hobbies, go out and travel, experience what life has to offer after you're done with your work life.
