Have a hard time moving on from a past relationship?

Breakups can be horrible, especially if you were in love. But breakups happen and sometimes there's no predicting it. I've been through it myself, but I like to think I've gotten over those breakups. But what about you, did you have a hard time moving on from a past relationship? Maybe you still are depressed because of it. Maybe she/he was the one, but they didn't feel the same.

If you're still dealing with the pain from it, how do you get over it? Do you ever get over it?

I am a person who can move on easily. Well, breaking up certainly is painful but I can easily come out of it. In the beginning I keep myself occupied and do not let my mind explore pain of the past

That's good. I've known people who struggle really bad after a breakup. I have family members who've gone through bad depressions after a breakup. It certainly sucks to see a relationship end, but it is a part of life that we have to learn to move on from, because there is many fish in the sea and there is always a chance the one you love, is not the one.

There is a lady that I lost and she is still stuck in my head five years after we had broken up. She is married now. I was so much in love with the lady and she was eager to marry because she didn't have much time based on biological clock. She broke up with me to get married to someone else. If she ever gets to leave her marriage, I would marry her immediately now.

Before I was married, I have a few affairs but none of them were serious. So when we broke off, we were able to move on easily. However, I know a lot of people who had hard time moving on from past relationship. If you were serious, it will always be hard to move on.
