Gen Z Labeled Lazy

If you look on the net, there are so many stories about lazy gen Z, but I don't know what to believe. Well, the consensus is they're lazy, unpunctual, entitled, and oversensitive. Is this true, or this just obnoxious bullies lashing out at another target?

Gen Z is often labeled lazy, but I believe they give impprtance to mental health, flexibility, and meaningful work over hustle. I think they work smart, not just hard. Do you think this label is fair?

I suppose a balance is in order. I know, myself, that I can't go to jobs demanding things, but maybe after making a good impression, I can negotiate for more humane conditions. Does that sound about reasonable?

Yes, that sounds entirely reasonable and actually quite wise. Leading with a good impression shows you are committed, capable, and cooperative, which builds trust. Once you have’l demonstrated your value, it becomes much easier to have meaningful conversations about better conditions or accommodations.

It is the older generation that want we the Gen Z to emulate their hustle culture that label us as lazy. This very label is because the Gen Z are aligning to work-life balance that the older generations didn't believe in.

We live in a digital age, most young people want to work little and earn a lot. That is what they term 'working smart'. The older ones will see this and can't help but tag them lazy, because the young ones are not ready to work as hard as the older ones did in their prime.
