Time constraint is one big challenge that everyone faces in this current past paced digital lives. Each one is working to stay productive and keep achieving the goals. Many have high demanding jobs leaving no room to pursue their hobbies and passion. I keep meeting people who have quite interesting hobbies, but they don't find time to pursue them. Many just keep postponing it taking care of the other obligations in life. And there are many who compartmentalize life and put hobbies in the compartment of post retirement life.
Last year, one of our close friend had a heart attack. He is just 47. He was under a huge work pressure. With this uncertain job market, he was stretching beyond his capacity to keep his job safe. And all the physical and mental stress led to a minor heart attack. It took a heart attack to teach him this valuable lesson that a secured job and financial security does not ensure a smooth peaceful life. He was under medication for few months. And then he started pursuing his love for painting. Every morning he indulges in his painting for a while before starting the day. This slowing down has improved his overall health so much. Even The medication is coming down.
Don't ignore your hobbies. Squeeze rime to do something that gives you happiness. Don't wait for the right time or right opportunity.

Hobbies aren’t just ways to pass the time, they give your mind a break, reduce stress, and boost mood. Even when life gets hectic, carving out time for something you genuinely enjoy can be a mental health lifesaver.

I try to get my hobbies in when I can, especially because it can help take my mind off of the day to day stresses. And it's good to have hobbies, because there will be days where you need a break from all the noise. It can also help relieve your stress and anxieties. But yeah, I agree, it's all about finding time for yourself, whether it be to relax, unwind, or just get some fun in your life.
