Do people with personality disorders pretend to be someone else?

Those who have personality disorders, do some of them like to pretend to be other people? If so, do they act as various different people? Or do they usually just pretend to be one person?

Some people with certain personality disorders might present themselves differently to cope, fit in, or manipulate situations. I’ve noticed that it’s often about masking insecurities or managing social interactions, rather than literally “pretending” all the time.
