Loneliness itself is not in any way a mental conditions but excessive feelings of loneliness can have detrimental effects on your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. If you have been feeling lonely for extended period of time you might have weak immune system, gain weight; have poor sleep, poor heart health, more likely to fall into alcohol, tobacco, or drug addiction, less likely to exercise, more likely to be depressed, depleting memory, and higher blood pressure.
Loneliness is not a situation where you don't have people around you,it is a situation when you believe you have nothing left in your life.
If you are feeling, pick a hobby.
How often do you feel lonely?

Loneliness doesn’t just hurt emotionally. it can physically impact your body too. It’s been linked to higher levels of cortisol (stress hormone), increased risk of heart disease, weakened immune function, poor sleep, and even cognitive decline over time. Chronic loneliness can feel just as harmful as smoking or obesity.

I think loneliness shows up most when we’re unheard or unseen, not necessarily when we’re alone.

Thankfully I don’t feel lonely too frequently

Loneliness is more about feeling invisible than just being physically alone. The physical toll, like raised cortisol and weakened immunity, really shows how deeply connected our emotions are to our bodies.
