The Silent Stress of Being a Caregiver

Caring for aging parents or sick relatives can take a huge emotional toll. Many don’t realize caregivers face burnout and loneliness. How can society better support those in caregiving roles? Have you ever experienced caregiver fatigue yourself?

Caregivers have my respect. Having to care for someone is not an easy task. I know one day I or my brother may have to take care of our parents. I worry about that because idk how well I'd be at it. And I know I'd be scared to be responsible for taking care of them, especially at their age. It's got to be a scary situation. But when family is involved, you have to be there for them.

I imagine caregivers face a lot, not only physically, but emotionally because those that care for many might see a lot of death. I don't think I could do that job. It's one thing to take care of family but to take care of many people, I couldn't do it.
