Do you keep a sleep journal?

Keeping a journal to talk about your day to day life is not a bad idea, but have you ever considered keeping a dream journal? I have thought about doing it before, but these days I don't remember my dreams like I used to. I try, but often forget about them as I wake up. I know keeping a sleep journal can be rewarding for people, because in some ways it helps them understand their mind better. I also consider it as a way for your subconscious to tell you things about yourself. Maybe that dream is warning you about something, or that dream is seeing your subconscious try to tell you to do better. It could be many things, so that's why people like to journal to better understand what their dreams could be about.

I have never maintained a dream journal. However, I once had a journal and sometimes I used to write about my dreams, especially the ones that seemed strange or the dreams that turned out to be true. I think it would be interesting to maintain a sleep journal. I believe it will help you understand your mind.

That's fair. It's not something everyone does, but I think it's a fun thing to do in order to understand your dreams more. Also I hear writing them down, allows you to remember more of your dreams, so I've thought of doing that so I can actually remember more of mine. There are nights where I am dreaming, but completely forget what it was I was dreaming about.
