Can you be bipolar your whole life and never show signs of it?

I think to some extent we're all sort of bipolar. I think we have levels of it. Some of us may be bipolar, and never have any major mood changes, while some may suffer worse from it. I was curious, is there anyone out there who has been diagnosed being bipolar, but never showed any signs they even had it? Since I think there are levels to being bipolar, I think someone could have it to the point it doesn't affect them like others. Do you think there are even undiagnosed people with bipolar disorder?

Yes, many people may have mild or undiagnosed bipolar symptoms. Some experience subtle mood shifts that never reach clinical levels or diagnosis.

I am not a doctor, but I believe that some cases might be unnoticed. There are those who may experience minor mood swings and never suspect that it is bipolar disorder. It is difficult since everybody has good and bad days hence it is easy to overlook it. It is only with the help of proper diagnosis that it can be confirmed.
