Are We Addicted to Overthinking?

Overthinking often feels like control, but it creates anxiety. Have you caught yourself replaying conversations or predicting outcomes constantly? What helps you break that mental loop and quiet your thoughts?
 
I know I am. I'm currently dealing with some work stuff that's been causing me some issues. I just need to find more work on my end, but it's been easier said than done. So that's been causing me much anxiety and in turn a lot of overthinking about what I can do next to make a better living. Sometimes I have to tell myself that I can get through this, and not to worry so much, because something will come up soon I'm sure.
