Anxiety in Times of Political Unrest

When governments collapse or laws constantly change, people often live with chronic anxiety. How can individuals stay mentally grounded when political instability becomes a daily reality?

A few years ago, I read an article based on a study that concluded that politics is making American youth anxious, stressed, and depressed. Well, I live in a country, where there is political instability, and in my life I have already seen at least 4 revolutions. I know how politics can have detrimental effects in mind.

Honestly, this hits hard. Every time there’s political tension in my country, it's like I just can’t look away as I want to check what's happening in the news at all cost, but I’ve learned to cut down on the news a bit and focus on small things I can control. That has helped to calm my mind.
