Why Is Gen Z Developing 'Phantom Notification' Anxiety?

Even without phones, many feel imaginary buzzes. What does this say about our nervous systems?

How often do you "feel" your phone alerting you when it's not?

The “phantom vibration” shows how our nervous system adapts to constant phone use, creating conditioned responses. Personally, I often feel fake alerts, especially when waiting for important messages. It’s a sign of how technology shapes our brain’s attention and stress levels.

Phantom notification can also occur as a result of a technical glitch on a device. But if that is not the case, then it has to do with the person's psychological situation. I have not experienced such before.
